Arya Samaj marriage is a legal document proof for many things inside India, but this document is not valid outside the country. To get a visa for any country, you need a marriage certificate issued by the marriage registrar of the Government of India.

But you can get the marriage certificate from the Government of India based on the Arya Samaj marriage certificate.

So, yes, it can be valid proof for Visa but not directly. You will have to complete an additional step to procure a government marriage certificate.

How to Register for Arya Samaj Marriage

The government of India recognizes Arya Samaj marriage and it is amended in the Hindu marriage act. You can register for the Arya Samaj marriage by going to a sub-divisional magistrate. You may also get the option of filling the online form in some of the states like Delhi.

When you go through the online process, you get an appointment date of generally 15 days later. You can begin the proceedings by filing up some formalities of the form and providing the documents like birth certificate, and passport-sized photos and wedding photographs. You may also require the divorce certificate if it is applicable. So, these Arya Samaj marriage documents are needed to complete the wedding ceremony.

Once the wedding ceremony is over, you can get the wedding certificate in five to ten working days, which can be produced to the Registrar of marriage to issue a legal certificate.
